In this episode of the AT&T Turn Up The Love series ‘Young Heroes,’ Miles McKenna meets Jacob, one of the co-founders of the Encircle House in Salt Lake City, Utah. Encircle seeks to change the narrative of the conversation among communities of faith and LGBTQ+ people. By empowering individuals and their families, Encircle helps provide an environment where LGBTQ+ individuals can thrive.
Jacob invites Miles to visit the Encircle house where he and Jacob listen and share emotional stories with Encircle youth members and family. The two also attend Utah Pride together where they spend time at the Encircle booth meeting LGBTQ+ youth and hearing stories as well as meeting a surprise guest!
