The First Weekend of Pride Was Incredible

June 4, 2019

To start Pride Month, AT&T Turn Up The Love had one mission– make everyone look and feel fabulous while celebrating LGBTQ+ pride. In honor of AT&T being an ally since 1975, we brought the 1970s-inspired #TurnUpTheLove salon to Salt Lake City for Utah Pride! Hundreds of festival attendees got glammed up with a signature rainbow look, from the “EQUALITY” eyebrow liner to the “YASSSS” face make-up.

Makeup artist and beauty expert Jose, aka @laviedunprince, curated these looks just for Utah Pride! In a few hours his looks could be seen all over Washington Square Park.

To spread the love outside of the festival grounds, we also showed up to the Sunday Parade with a 1970s-inspired float, featuring roller skaters, 70s music, and of course, lots of heart.

We want to thank all of the stylists, brand ambassadors, roller skaters, and LGBTQ+ community members that helped us Turn Up The Love and make this Pride kick-off a huge success!
