A Festival Like No Other - LOVELOUD 2019

July 2, 2019

This past weekend, thousands of LGBTQ+ individuals and allies came together at the third annual LOVELOUD Festival at the USANA Amphitheater in West Valley City, Utah.

For those not familiar, LOVEOUD was founded by Imagine Dragons frontman, Dan Reynolds, and is a celebratory music festival with a single mission to spread love and acceptance for LGBTQ+ youth everywhere. All proceeds from the concert go to organizations in support of at-risk LGBTQ+ youth.

To help us #TurnUpTheLove a notch this year, we had some familiar faces including Miles McKenna, Tyler Oakley, Jose Jimenez, Savannah Skyler, and Kalen Allen tour the festival grounds and sample just a few of the activations it had to offer.

TV personality Kalen Allen, who was also the host of the day, helped us kick off the festival in the gorgeous AT&T LOVELOUD Pavilion where he chatted with the man of the hour, Dan Reynolds, and snapped a photo or two of himself on the blue carpet.

In the meantime, Miles McKenna found our amazing Turn Up The Love LGBTQ+ History Wall, and highlighted the long-standing commitment AT&T has had to supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

Tyler Oakley took advantage of every photo opportunity by making a pit stop at the AT&T mobile truck, and the AT&T Thanks and Encircle booth where you could make your own custom pronoun pin!

As the rest of the gang explored the concert venue, Savannah Skyler stopped by to visit the AT&T Turn Up The Love Salon where she got a custom festival look by the very talented Jose.

While Savannah, Jose, Miles, Tyler and Kalen had a blast walking through the venue, music filled the air.

LOVELOUD Festival 2019 was full of INCREDIBLE performances, speeches, and even dances. Headliners this year including Kesha, Daya, Tegan and Sara, AJR, K. Flay, PVRIS, and Dan Reynolds, truly took the stage by storm. (Artists pictured left to right – photo credit: Jerod Harris / Getty Images)

Award winning actress and producer Lena Waithe even stepped on stage to introduce Andy Allo—one of the talented musicians involved in AT&T and Lena Waithe’s, “Artists You Should Know” music mentorship program. It was a packed day of entertainment!

We are incredibly honored that we could help power such an impactful night, and we can’t wait to continue to support and encourage acceptance for LGBTQ+ youth everywhere.
